Inclusive Language and Diversity Policy

Electronic Journal of Microbiology Research (JMR) promotes inclusive, respectful, and non-discriminatory language in all its publications.

Authors are encouraged to:

• Use gender-neutral language where possible (e.g., “they” instead of “he/she”)

• Avoid terms or language that reinforce stereotypes or exclude specific groups

• Recognize diversity in human populations (race, gender, disability, ethnicity, etc.)

The editorial board is committed to increasing diversity among authors, reviewers, and board members to reflect the global nature of scientific research.
